Today, Day 12, I’m able to add animal proteins back in. Now that I ‘can’ eat them… I don’t really want it. Good, right ??
For lunch I tried a salmon burger, it was pretty tasty on my grilled home made quinoa bread, avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion. However, definitely felt a ball of ‘salmon burger’ in my belly afterwords… maybe a walk now… and a salad for dinner
A friend asked how I was feeling… I said “about the same”. Upon further inner observation, happy to say… No more hot flashes, better digestion, and my pants are longer… Total weight lost per my wii fit board is 7 lbs. So overall.. Some great shifts, plus I’m hiking more than ever. Saw 3 coyotes yesterday while hiking Cheeseboro… not cool when you have a small dog with you!
For dinner my girlfriend Marti is coming over with her dogs, and we are going to wii. She has made a ‘raw vegan’ appetizer for us, and I will break out the hummus and veggies. Her surprise was a yummy dish with cashews and bell pepper, garlic and more. As soon as I get a pix and the recipe,I will post it a new category called Marti’s Raw Magic !! She makes some pretty amazing things that one would NEVER know was vegan, let alone raw. So stay tuned 🙂
The fun for the night is a game of Hula Hoop on the wii (Wii Fit Plus – Interactive TV Games). I want to see how she does on Hula Hoop. That one kicks my butt !! I’m sure we will ski and jet ski and maybe play some tennis. I’m just glad to have someone workout with me on this wii thing… eat some yummy healthy snacks, play with dogs and sweat !
Breakfast smoothie – Chocolate mint
- 2 scoops protein
- 1 small tsp of organic unsweetened cocao powder
- 4 dates
- 1 table spoon of almond better
- 1 cup flax milk
- 3 mint leaves
- H2O as needed
