My new favorite snack.. anytime morning, noon or evening !
Day 14 – I think I’ve stumbled upon something… I think I might be allergic to soy ?! We went for sushi ( aka sashimi) for Friday night date night…. I made hot wasabi with chili oil and soy dipping sauce as usual; And woke up this morning with stuffy nose, phlegm head and headache. I actually feel like I drank too much sake! A few nights before when Eric made the stir fry and we used soy sauce. Also that next morning I woke up with similar reaction I couldn’t figure it out. So maybe ??? It could be allergies I suppose.. and I haven’t done my ‘oil pulling‘ in over a week, so that’s a thought too.
Anyway.. . I dont have any pix of sashime dinner… Only my NEW FAVORITE SNACK, or breakfast, or lunch… Toasted quinoa bread, organic peanut butter, and bananas… Yummm! It has temporarily replaced hummus and cucumber.
Ancient Ayurvedic health practitioners believed that oil pulling could reduce more than just diseases of the mouth and throat. Today, many holistic practitioners tout its use for a variety of health concerns.
It is believed that these oils help the lymphatic system of the body as harmful bacteria are removed and beneficial microflora are given with a healthy environment to flourish. Because of this holistic perspective, oil pulling has been used as a preventative health measure for many other conditions.
