DAY 6 – ALMOST 1/3 of the way through… OMG !!!  Really, only 1/3 !!!  Ugh !  The weekend is upon me.. and hoping it will be easy.  My friend who was to do this with me, has fallen off the face of the earth.  So, I will press forward and drudge into the 2nd week solo.

This morning as I was walking the dogs, I saw the group of women that must be new mom’s..  There were about 10-12 of them.. I’ve seen them many times.  They bring their babies in there HUGE stroller, and workout with it at the park.  If I wasn’t in a hurry, I would have asked to take a video,  because  what they are doing is so cool.  Hopefully, I will catch them sometime this week.  I was so inspired, that I ran with the dogs up and across our park.  BURST EXERCISE…..  Boy, I need more cardio !!

Friday day another quinoa salad with black beans, but this time, I used cilantro, green onions and tomato.   Friday night night date night was a veggie BBQ.  Grilled eggplant, zucchini and green onions, and kale, arugula,and beet salad on the side.  I’m ready to be done with this…  but I will manage through, however these next 2 weeks could not come soon enough.

The want for red meat and a glass of wine at times is almost unbearable; and I’ve never craved those little black licorices in Trader Joe’s quite as bad as I have this past week; I’ve already started planning for my 22nd day, when I bring foods back in….  1/2 burger with cheese medium rare, handful french fries and glass of wine.  I hope I get sick !
